The Guam National Guard held an opening ceremony this past Monday for their new helicopter facility, the Guard Readiness Centre. The ribbon was cut by Army National Guard Director Lt. Gen. Timothy J. Kadavy; Guam National Guard adjutant general Lt. Col. Esther Aguigui; and commander in chief of the Guam National Guard Gov. Lou Leon Guerrero. The facility houses two UH-72 Lakota helicopters, has a helipad and utility services, reports Post Guam.
