The engine was returned to its working state in such a short period of time thanks to the Center for medium engine repair TV3-117, created last year, in cooperation with ODK-Klimov, JSC and UTair-Engineering, JSC at the Plekhanovo airport in Tyumen. Qualitatively built logistics, modern, equipped base provided by UTair-Engineering and the competencies of the developer of ODK-Klimov JSC allow for the prompt repair of engines at production facilities of the base in Tyumen, UTair-Engineering’s own line maintenance stations in Russia and abroad, as well as databases of third-party operators of the Mi-8 / Mi-17.
