Helibras and the Fire Department of the State of Rio de Janeiro today signed a letter of intent to purchase four H125 helicopters. The aircraft will be operated by the Air Operations Group (GOA) for civil defense missions, rescue and aeromedical transportation.
Jean-Luc Alfonsi, Helibras Vice President of Business and Services, says that the aircraft will be configured to meet the various mission requirements of the Rio de Janeiro Fire Department. “The aircraft will have aeromedical kit, bambi bucket, winch, hook, among other equipment that will aid in the missions.”
