CHC Group has been awarded a contract from Capricorn Norge AS, a wholly owned subsidiary of Cairn Energy PLC, to provide helicopter services in support of their forthcoming drilling program at the Lynghaug (PL758) and Godalen (PL842) prospects in the Norwegian Sea.

The operation will utilize Transocean Arctic drilling rig from CHC’s base in Brønnøysund. There will be up to four flights per week using a Sikorsky S-92A.
