Due to the current concern regarding the spread of the coronavirus disease (covid-19), recently renamed SARS-CoV-2, Airbus Helicopters would like to remind operators about recommendations and guidance related to the cleaning and disinfection of their helicopters.

On 30 March 2020, Airbus Helicopters released revision 1 of its IN 3476-I-12 information notice, “SERVICING – Disinfection of the helicopter interior and the external handles.”

This revision provides additional guidance about disinfection materials and procedures related to indirect contamination on helicopters, workplaces and tools, including the application procedures. This information notice is available through the T.I.P.I. Technical Information Publication portal.
