The Joint Rescue Coordination Centre (JRCC) Trenton was first called around 1700Z regarding a helicopter in the Orangeville, ON, area due to an emergency locator transmitter (ELT) signal that was going off. It was confirmed that there had been a crash approximately 12NM Northeast (NE) of Orangeville, near a private strip. It was reported that the helicopter crashed under unknown circumstances while attempting to land at a private site. The 4 souls onboard were reported as being okay. Extent of aircraft damage unknown.
