Just before the Chrstmas break, Sikorsky announced – but only on Twitter – that they will deliver a new S-92 to the Republic of Korea’s National 119 Rescue Headquarters.  This aircraft will support firefighting and search & rescue missions.  No time scale was given, but given that Sikorsky only seems to have delivered one new S92 to the civil market in 2020, any news for them is good news.

National 119 Rescue currently operates three Airbus EC225 helicopters.
