CHC has partnered with Avy and the North Holland North Safety Region (VRNHN) to jointly investigate how long-range drones can support the early detection of and the improved situational awareness during wildfires.

Signing the Memorandum of Understanding on behalf of CHC, Den Helder base manager, Quinten Hergaarden said, “We are delighted to be part of this collaboration. This partnership will allow us to expand our knowledge and experience in the field of UAS as well as bringing our decades of experience in offshore and Search and Rescue operations.”
