Heli-One, a leading provider of helicopter maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services, announced the appointment of Rob Cole to the position of head of sales. Cole will be based in Richmond, British Columbia, Canada and will work with the Sales and Business Development team to further grow Heli-One’s commercial opportunities worldwide.

Cole has more than 15 years of experience in the aviation sector—starting as an offshore helicopter pilot and then becoming a base manager for CHC Helicopter in 2012. In 2013 he transitioned into a variety of commercial roles including sales, business development, and account management with a focus on long-term strategic growth. Prior to joining Heli-One, Cole was vice president of business development for PHI International. In addition to his broad operational and commercial experience in the helicopter industry, Cole holds a Masters of Business Administration from the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia.
