HeliOperations is delighted to be able to offer an EASA Standard Night Vision Imaging System (NVIS) qualification, suitable for both civil and military customers using its own state of the art, full-motion NVIS equipped simulator situated at the Royal Naval Air Station Culdrose followed by live NVIS flying training using its own Sea King helicopters from HeliOps’ Portland heliport.
Using highly experienced former-military civil qualified NVIS flying instructors, students will receive training in a range of scenarios including maritime, deck, SAR and mountain flying. HeliOps’ CEO Steve Gladston commented that this was yet another high-end aviation capability added to the HeliOps and HercOps group of companies.
