In 2020, Airbus Helicopters signed contracts for the supply of helicopters with 19 customers. Orders were placed for the popular single-engine H125 and H130 helicopters, as well as the twin-engine world bestsellers H135 and H145. Among other things, the company received the first order from a Russian client for the newest ACH145 helicopter with an ACH Line increased comfort cabin and a five-bladed main rotor (the model is designated MBB-BK117 D-3 in the type certificate).

In 2020, Airbus Helicopters delivered nine helicopters to customers, including the H125, H130, H135 and H145. Among other things, the VIP version of the H145 helicopter was certified and delivered (in the type certificate, the model is designated MBB-BK117 D-2), which is known under the brand name ACH145.

“Despite the difficult situation in the world, I can safely call 2020 a very successful year for Airbus Helicopters’ business in Russia. The orders received demonstrate the unprecedented demand for our equipment. We especially see the potential for growth in orders for twin-engine H135 and H145 helicopters and we plan to significantly strengthen our position in this segment in 2021, ”said Dmitry Perepelkin, Director of the Airbus helicopter division in Russia and Belarus.

Today more than 220 Airbus helicopters are successfully operated in the fleet of more than 130 Russian customers, including departmental structures, commercial operators and private owners.
