26-Mar-21 N351SH Airbus AS350B3 Palmer, US-Alaska (5F)

Helicopter crashed on Knik Glacier, killing five of the six POB.  The helicopter appears to have hit the mountain 10-15 feet below a ridgeline at an elevation of about 5,500 feet. The helicopter then rolled 800-900 feet downhill.  Alaska State Troopers identified the deceased as:

  • 52-year-old Colorado resident Gregory Harms
  • 56-year-old Czech Republic resident Petr Kellner
  • 50-year-old Czech Republic resident Benjamin Larochaix
  • 38-year-old Girdwood, Alaska resident Sean McManamy
  • 33-year-old Anchorage, Alaska resident  Zachary Russell (pilot)

And the sole survivor as

  • 48-year-old Czech Republic resident David Horvath
