Helicopter crashed on Knik Glacier, killing five of the six POB. The helicopter appears to have hit the mountain 10-15 feet below a ridgeline at an elevation of about 5,500 feet. The helicopter then rolled 800-900 feet downhill. Alaska State Troopers identified the deceased as:
- 52-year-old Colorado resident Gregory Harms
- 56-year-old Czech Republic resident Petr Kellner
- 50-year-old Czech Republic resident Benjamin Larochaix
- 38-year-old Girdwood, Alaska resident Sean McManamy
- 33-year-old Anchorage, Alaska resident Zachary Russell (pilot)
And the sole survivor as
- 48-year-old Czech Republic resident David Horvath
