HAI’s first annual Virtual Manufacturer Technical Briefings (MTBs) were a hit, with more than 1,000 registered participants from more than 55 countries attending the sessions Mar. 22–25, 2021.

Normally held in person each year at HAI HELI-EXPO®, the MTBs came to attendees online this year due to the cancellation of the 2021 show. The steady increase in demand for manufacturer briefings is an indication that safety and preventive maintenance are key to moving our industry forward.

The MTBS comprised more than 20 hours’ worth of the latest updates on maintenance and technical product information from prominent aircraft and engine OEMs. All sessions met FAA requirements for renewal of inspection authorization (IA) certificates and aviation maintenance technician (AMT) credits.
