The first H135 with the Helionix system began operating in Russia. The car was purchased by a private client to replace the previous version of the H135.

“Today the H135 is the most affordable twin-engine helicopter on the market, approved for instrument flights. The 4-channel autopilot in combination with the Helionix® avionics suite significantly reduces pilot workload. Due to its reliability, ease of maintenance, as well as the absence of the need for an operator, the H135 is ideal for private owners who prefer twin-engine technology, ”said Dmitry Perepelkin, Director of the Airbus Helicopter Division in Russia.

As of May 2021, 18 cars of this type are registered in Russia. By the end of this year, Airbus plans to deliver two more new Н135s to the Russian market, one delivery has been contracted for 2022.

The H135 is a recognized leader in the light multipurpose twin-engine helicopter segment. It is reliable, quiet, versatile and has the lowest operating and maintenance costs in its class. The maximum curb weight of the helicopter is 2,980 kg. Last year, the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) approved an increase in the H135 alternative gross weight to 3100 kg, which will provide customers with an additional 120 kg of load. It is expected that in Russia a similar certification will be obtained by the end of 2021.

Today, more than 1400 H135 helicopters are operated by 296 operators in 65 countries. They are used for passenger transport in private and business aviation, for ambulance missions and in the oil and gas sector.
