Coffs Harbour and Brisbane-based helicopter MRO organization Eagle Copters Australasia is proud to announce their achievement on the Part 145 approval from the Australian Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA).Since opening its doors in 2013, Eagle has strived to support local operators by adapting to their changing needs. Eagle is now certified to perform maintenance under CASR Part 145 on various helicopter manufacturers such as Bell, Leonardo, Airbus, and Robinson. Eagle retain its CAR30 approval and offer customers maintenance, repairs, modifications, component overhaul, and other services under both maintenance approvals.
“Our focus has been on expanding our capabilities so that we can provide comprehensive support to local helicopter operators engaged in a variety of missions,” explains Eagle Copters Australasia’s General Manager, Sonia Fuller. “Obtaining our approval under CASR Part 145, combined with our existing CAR30 regulatory and Bell Independent Customer Service Facility approvals, demonstrates our ongoing commitment to provide comprehensive support of the highest standards to operators in Australia and the region. I am proud of the continued efforts of our team to grow our organization to meet the needs of local operators now and into the future.”
Eagle Copters Australasia provide helicopter maintenance, component repair and overhaul, composite repair, and paint services to customers. They are responsible for some of Australia’s most impressive mission-ready fit-outs. Notable completions include custom fit-outs for HEMS and firefighting missions, as well as complex fully integrated avionics installations and upgrades. Eagle’s effectiveness is bolstered by their relationships with many key industry suppliers – they are a Bell Customer Service Facility, a Garmin Authorized Dealer, and a priority supplier of products from BLR Aerospace, Van Horn, Startstick, Extex, DART, and many more.
Eagle is proud of all their achievements for the last 8 years and are looking forward to supporting even more local operators in the years to come. As Craig Swayne, Eagle’s Sales and Support Manager explains, “We hope all helicopter operators, regardless of their fleet or operational requirements, consider us when seeking helicopter support. Our number one focus is keeping our customers in the air.”
