Bell Textron Inc., a Textron Inc. (NYSE:TXT) company, has announced the purchase of a Bell 505 by Kenyan customer Comply Industries Limited. The delivery is scheduled for the end of November 2021 and marks the fifth Bell 505 aircraft sold into East Africa. The aircraft will be used for corporate transportation throughout the country.

Comply Industries is Kenya’s leading producer of sustainably processed wood products and furniture. With manufacturing facilities based in the Nakuru Industrial Area and distribution depots in Nairobi, Mombasa and Kisumu, the company prides itself on its ongoing reforestation program partnership with the Kenyan government.

The Bell 505 is scheduled to arrive in Mombasa, Kenya in late November. The helicopter will be re-assembled at Africair Inc., a Bell-approved Customer Support Facility located in Ruiru, a town in the Kiambu County, near Wilson Airport in Nairobi, Kenya.
