Crashed and burned out, with instructor and student receiving fatal injuries. News reel shows one helicopter suddenly losing altitude in a long parade of 9+ helicopters. One report indicates there was smoke was emanating from the helicopter while it was in flight.
The fatalities were later named as Lt. Col. Panthong Banchongplaen, flight instructor and Lt. Lt. Thanakorn Piamcharoen, aviation student
