Bell Boeing awarded $21M contract to procure 104 proprotor hub spring and drive link kits for the V-22

Bell Boeing Joint Program Office, Amarillo, Texas is awarded a $21,611,280 firm-fixed-price modification (P00015) to an order (N0001919F0305) against a previously issued basic ordering agreement (N0001917G0002). This modification exercises an option to procure 104 proprotor hub spring and drive link kits for the V-22 Osprey aircraft, to include 60 for the MV-22 aircraft; 10 for the CV-22 aircraft; 29 spare kits for the MV-22 aircraft; and five spare kits for the CV-22 in support of proprotor hub spring and drive link improvement efforts to improve safety, reliability, and maintainability of MV and CV V-22 Osprey aircraft. Work will be performed in Amarillo, Texas, and is expected to be completed in February 2024. Fiscal 2022 aircraft procurement (Navy) funds in the amount of $18,506,258; and fiscal 2022 aircraft procurement (Air Force) funds in the amount of $3,105,022 will be obligated at time of award, none of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.
