Helicopter Association International (HAI) is pleased to announce the candidates for this year’s election to the HAI Board of Directors. If elected, each director will serve a term of three years beginning Jul. 1, 2022.

Three positions are available: two for helicopter operator, general aviation, and one for helicopter operator, commercial.

The candidates for the two helicopter operator, general aviation, positions are:

• Jeffery P. Smith, Chief Pilot, ROP Aviation, Teterboro, New Jersey, USA
• Robert Miller Stallings, Account Executive, Titan Aviation Fuels, New Bern, North Carolina, USA.

The candidates for the one helicopter operator, commercial, position are:

• Jared Friend, General Manager, Hillsboro Aero Academy, Hillsboro, Oregon, USA
• James Jensen, VP of Operations, Air Center Helicopters, Burleson, Texas, USA
• Neal Lanning, President, Advanced Helicopter Concepts, Frederick, Maryland, USA
• Francois Lassale, CEO, Heli SGI, Denpasar Selatan, Bali, Indonesia
• Stacy Sheard, Senior Line Captain, Executive Jet Management/Fanatics, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA.

The online election site will close at 2:30 pm central time (UTC-6) Monday, Mar. 7, 2022.

Online ballots were sent (via BigPulse, a secure online voting system) to the voting representative of each HAI helicopter operator member on Feb. 22, 2022.
