Boost Human External Cargo Systems(Boost Systems-www.boostsystems.ca), a global industry leader in the provision of Supplemental Type Certified human external cargo (HEC) systems and training services for the rescue, utility, public safety and defense sectorsis exhibiting at Heli-Expo 2022 (Booth #1804) in Dallas, Texas from March 8th – 10th, 2022.
“We’re excited to be attending this year’s HeliExpo” expresses Jeff Yarnold, Vice President of Operations with Boost Systems. “The past two years have posed many challenges to our business as it has with the entire helicopter industry. We have leveraged this time as an opportunity to enhance our relationships and continue discussions with HEC operators, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) and our suppliers, resulting in our ongoing success in providing legacy HEC systems, Personnel Carrying Device Systems (PCDS) and training services to operators around the globe. Additionally, we have utilized this period to remain proactive in developing and expanding upon our industry-leading FAA, EASA, CAAC and Transport Canada certified HEC systems and training.”
Since HeliExpo 2020, Boost Systems has worked diligently, while observing all Covid safety requirements, to develop and certify human external cargo systems for the MD 500, Bell 205, 212 and 412 helicopters, while also developing and distributing its new Insulated Generation II HEC Suspension Line.
Boost System’s Gen II HEC Suspension offers enhanced safety and design features, however, a key attribute is that the Gen II Line is fully encased over the entire length of the line, including splices, in a crystal-clear urethane rubber; providing maximum protection without sacrificing the ability to perform visual inspections.
“The development of our new Gen II HEC Suspension Line was a priority among the energized HEC operations community, as they demanded lines that meet the dielectric criteria required by contractors across North America. Without a doubt, our Gen II HEC Suspension Line is the safest, most advanced suspension line system available to HEC crews operating in the powerline industry” explains Yarnold.
The Boost Systems Team is excited to meet with HEC stakeholders and OEMs at HeliExpo 2022 to discuss the evolving HEC operations and challenges; and how Boost’s unique dual hook/dual release systems can help make HEC missions safer and more efficient. Meeting times may be booked by contacting: info@boostsystems.ca
Boost Systems’ HEC kits for the Airbus AS350/AS355/H125, Bell 205/212/412, Bell 206L/407 and MD500 series helicopters are Supplemental Type Certified and compliant to FAR 27.865/ 29.865 (including optional, approved PCDS) and provide the highest level of safety and reliability available to the industry.
