(NYSE: DCI) is celebrating 20 years of its successful and industry-changing inlet barrier filter (IBF) at HAI HELI-EXPO 2022 (booth #7440) with a special event featuring the company’s first commercial customer – MD Helicopters.

Donaldson first launched its cost-saving IBF in 2001, which revolutionized engine protection for helicopter operations, especially those conducted in particularly harsh, off airport locations. Donaldson’s filters capture dust, sand, and debris that can damage turbine engines and impact performance and reliability. Aircraft operating with Donaldson’s IBF onboard experience reduced engine maintenance costs, consistent flight operations and extends engine time on wing.

Since launch, more than 10,000 IBF units have been sold around the world and they are now available for virtually every aircraft from all major OEMs
