In April East/West Industries announced it had received the 2019 Gold Boeing Performance Award (BPEA). The Boeing Company issues the BPEA award annually to acknowledge suppliers for superior performance. For a fifth consecutive year, East/West has earned the Gold-Level BPEA honor.

In July East/West Industries announced that it had received approval to begin full rate production on their innovative Enhanced Emergency Oxygen System (EEOS) by the United States Navy’s Aircrew Systems program office (PMA202). The EEOS allows up to 45 minutes of additional oxygen supply over the legacy Emergency Oxygen System, thereby improving the survivability of airmen.

In August, East/West Industries announced it had signaled the start of close cooperation by signing a teaming agreement with AUTOFLUG GmbH, a German Aerospace Company.
