Helicopter Association International (HAI) is pleased to announce the appointment of Francois Lassale as special advisor – international by the association’s board of directors. Lassale, formerly with HeliOffshore and now CEO of Heli SGI in Denpasar Selatan, Bali, Indonesia, was chosen for the new post during HAI HELI-EXPO 2022 in Dallas in March.

“We are very excited to add Francois as our new special advisor on international issues,” says HAI President and CEO James Viola. “The board continues to focus on emphasizing the international aspect of HAI’s identity, and Francois’s substantial knowledge of and experience in the global industry will be a significant asset to our team.”

“We recognized in his nomination package Francois’s passion for serving HAI members and the industry, and we’re grateful he accepted our offer to join the board as a special advisor on international issues,” says Randal R. Rowles, HAI board chairman for 2021–22. “We felt the video he submitted with his nomination also addressed our goal to emphasize international membership and representation, and I am grateful he is allowing us to share it.”

The appointment of a special advisor – international is another reflection of HAI’s efforts to extend its global reach.
