Raytheon awarded $272M contract for support of FLIR on MH-60R and MH-60S

Raytheon Co., McKinney, Texas, is awarded a $272,672,545 firm-fixed-price, performance-based logistics requirements contract to provide logistics, repair, and upgrade support for 15 Multi-Spectral Targeting System Forward-Looking Infrared components in support of MH-60R and MH-60S helicopters. The contract will include a five-year base period with one two-year option period which if exercised, will bring the total estimated value to $376,414,525. Work will be performed in Jacksonville, Florida (70%); and McKinney, Texas (30%). Work is expected to be completed by May 2027; if the option is exercised, work is expected to be completed by May 2029. Working capital funds (Navy) in the amount of $58,241,030 will be issued for delivery order N00383-22-F-0TH1 that will be awarded concurrently with the contract, and funds will not expire. One company was solicited for this non-competitive requirement pursuant to the authority set forth in 10 U.S. Code 2304 (c)(1), with one offer received. Naval Supply Systems Command Weapon Systems Support, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is the contracting activity (N00383-22-D-TH01).
