My passion for flying has never waivered and when the opportunity came to join AEM as VP Operations, I was excited beyond imagination. To be able to come full circle from my younger years as a pilot and then to finish my working career in aerospace has been quite simply, a dream come true.”

After earning his Electrical Engineering Technologist certificate from Okanagan College, Wylie began his career at Northern Airborne Technology as an Electrical Technician. Joining AEM in the early days of the company’s inception, Wylie has diversified his knowledge of the organization by holding a range of roles across AEM including, Repair Technician, QA Inspector, Production Control Technologist, Materials Supervisor and Management Trainee.

Throughout his career, Wylie continues to demonstrate a passion for learning, collaboration, and continuous improvement. It is these traits that have given him the opportunity to advance in his career, and how he would like to continue to lead and inspire others.

“The future for AEM is incredibly bright, robust, and responsive. AEM is a stand-out organization whose reputation continues to grow with quality products that continue to exceed customers’ expectations. I couldn’t be more grateful for having had the opportunity to lead AEM on this sometimes challenging, but more often – rewarding journey,” says Wall.
