Ingenio  Aerospace (Ingenio), developers of innovative aircraft cockpit and cabin solutions, today announced that Bell Textron, a pioneering aerospace manufacturer of military and commercial rotorcraft, has integrated Ingenio’s Cockpit Tablet Electronic Flight Bag (“Heli-Mount EFB”) into the CH-146 Griffon Limited Life Extension (GLLE) project for the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF).

The GLLE is an $800 million project that will extend the life of the RCAF’s fleet of 85 CH-146 Griffon helicopters through 2031. It will cover the replacement of avionics systems, upgrading of cockpit displays, engine upgrades and integration of sensor systems.

Ingenio ’s compact, ruggedized and lightweight Heli-Mount EFB provides a secure and robust mounting system for personal electronic devices (PEDs) while in flight. It is an important element related to Bell Textron’s overhaul of the CH-146.
