The American Helicopter Museum & Education Center (AHMEC) proudly announces a very successful conclusion to its 2022 Toys for Tots campaign.

Beginning in October AHMEC participated in the United States Marine Corps Toys for Tots Drive for the second consecutive year. The goal of 120 gifts by December 15 was easily met as the museum offered discounts on admission, as well as museum gift shop toy purchases to help this worthwhile cause.

“We set a goal of 120 gifts,” explained David Vanderhoof, AHMEC’s Retail Manager. “Thanks to the generosity of our visitors, volunteers, and staff, we surpassed that and delivered 137 toys to the Chester County PA Toys for Tots. This was an increase of over 200% over last year. We are grateful to everyone who supported our drive and donated to bring happiness to so many children at Christmas.”

Rounding out the holidays at AHMEC, the wonderful world of trains continues Saturday, December 17, as the Train Collectors Association Atlantic Division, a national organization of model railroad enthusiasts dedicated to collecting, preserving, and operating model trains, displays and operates one of its many layouts and answers questions.
