Reports from Libya indicate that the Libyan Air Ambulance has ordered three Bell helicopters, with the 429 and 505 named as the types involved.  The Air Ambulance service has been lobbying the Libyan Government since at least 2019 for a 429.

The plans are to use these helicopters throughout the country of Libya, and will be particularly targeted at the more remote areas where their jets cannot reach.  They currently fly two Cessna 560XL Citation XLS and one 680A Citation Latitude.

The operator also has had at least eight helicopters, including three SA365C Dauphins delivered new around 1981-2 and five Leonardo AW119s acquired in 2008-9. At least two AW119s have been parked up and are in a poor state, and events of history would suggest that it is unlikely any helicopters are currently flying with this operator.
