Bell Boeing awarded $7M contract for development of V-22 avionics

Bell Boeing Joint Program Office, Amarillo, Texas, is awarded a $7,550,363 cost-plus-fixed-fee order (N0001923F2499) against a previously issued basic ordering agreement (N0001922G0002). This order provides for the sustainment of previously-delivered block fleet releases as well as ongoing development of flight test, fleet releases and analysis leading to implementation of future sustainment block fleet releases in support of the V-22 avionics systems. Work will be performed in Ridley Park, Pennsylvania (92%); and Fort Worth, Texas (8%), and is expected to be completed in January 2024. Fiscal 2023 operations and maintenance (Navy) funds in the amount of $3,878,208; fiscal 2023 operations and maintenance (Air Force) funds in the amount of $1,674,628; fiscal 2023 other procurement (Air Force) funds in the amount of $1,148,226; and fiscal 2023 research, development, test and evaluation (Navy) funds in the amount of $849,301will be obligated at the time of award, $5,552,836 of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.
