With a commitment to military members, past and present, Air Methods has joined forces with the U.S. Army and Nebraska Army National Guard to help active and future soldiers prepare for professional careers while serving their country as part of the Army’s Partnership for Your Success (PaYS) program.

An official signing ceremony will take place on Monday, May 8 at 11 a.m. CDT at the Nebraska National Guard Joint Force Headquarters located at 2433 NW 24th St., Lincoln, NE.

“At Air Methods, we value our service members’ sacrifices for our great country and owe them tremendous gratitude for their service,” said Paul Williams, vice president of Talent Acquisition at Air Methods. “We understand the skillsets and values they bring to work at Air Methods, so we’re excited to join the PaYS program to help more soldiers in their future careers.”

The PaYS Program is a strategic partnership between the Army and a cross section of private industry, academia and state and local public institutes. The U.S. Army PaYS Program guarantees soldiers five job interviews and possible employment after their service in the Army and provides America’s youth with the unique opportunity to simultaneously serve their country and prepare for their future.

“Almost 30% of Air Methods’ workforce have served or are currently serving in the military,” said Devin Lovgren, recruiter at Air Methods. “As a veteran myself, I can say with confidence that Air Methods is truly committed to helping service members transition successfully from the military to thriving careers in the workforce. The opportunities at Air Methods are vast, and we look forward to helping soldiers find a thriving career with us.”

The PaYS program is designed to help soldiers prepare for a career after the Army by connecting them with employers who understand the skills, discipline, and work ethic that military service members bring to a business. This program is part of a long-term U.S. Army effort to help soldiers forge professional relationships with businesses and encourage business owners to look to the Army as a plentiful and reliable recruiting source. Since PaYS began in 2000, more than 1,000 employers have partnered with the program.

Ceremony is open to the media. To attend, please RSVP to MAJ Sean O’Neill, Executive Officer, Recruiting and Retention Battalion, Nebraska Army National Guard at 402-309-7452 or sean.p.oneill40.mil@army.mil. Interviews with participants will be available following the ceremony.
