The Air Charter Association (The ACA) is today pleased to announce that Alana Burns, Operations Director for Atlas Helicopters, has been elected by the board.

With more than twenty years’ experience in the aviation industry, Alana has led Atlas Helicopters in its growth to becoming one of the leading helicopter charter companies in the UK.

Helicopter charter is still a relatively small but important part of the air charter world, but it is vital to ensure that the market is operating safely and legally, with high levels of service

Alana Burns, board member for The ACA says: “I am honoured to be joining the board and look forward to taking an active role in developing the membership in the rotary sector, and working on ways in which The ACA can further support helicopter charter operations.

Kevin Ducksbury, chairman of The ACA, adds: “I am delighted to add Alana to the team. Her knowledge and experience will bring a wealth of skills to the association and lead our strategy in increasing engagement with and support for the rotary sector. I am sure she will be a great asset and look forward to working with her. “
