Last week Jefferson Einstein Montgomery Hospital celebrated the official opening of their helipad, made possible by the Friends of Einstein’s 2021 Harvest Ball. The new helipad will enable air ambulance helicopters to quickly transport patients with critical medical needs to and from the hospital.

Located on the south side of the main buildings, the new helipad consists of a concreted area with the usual EMS Helipad markings, but has no additional lighting – and would thus be expected for daylight use only.

Patients at Jefferson Einstein Montgomery Hospital (formerly Einstein Medical Center Montgomery) have access to a full range of medical care and surgical interventions including cardiac services, cancer care, orthopedic services, minimally invasive and robotic surgery, and family-centered maternity care.

Located on 87 acres along Germantown Pike in East Norriton, Pa., Jefferson Einstein Montgomery Hospital brings the experience of Jefferson Healthcare Network to residents of central Montgomery County

Jefferson Einstein Montgomery Hospital is part of the Jefferson Health organisation, which operates a helicopter service under the JeffStat branding.  A small fleet of Airbus EC135 and EC145 helicopters are operated for JeffStat by Air Methods.
