Hawaii County Fire Department helicopter made an emergency landing after an engine failure during a hurricane evacuation mission along the Hamakua coastline.  No damage, no injuries.  The only helicopter registered to Hawaii County Fire Dept is MD500E N911HY (0602E)

During landing and after the helicopter was in contact with the ground, a strong fabric cover that was stored in a table about 20 meters away, lifted in air and hit the main rotor blades first and then passed through the tail rotor blades, starflex and tail rotor system.
