Helicopter was carrying Nigerian Vice President Yemi Osibanjo and his aides, none of whom were seriously injured.  There was a total of 12 POB including crew.  Brown out on approach was contributory to the end result – helicopter on its starboard side.

SAR helicopter hit zipwire, causing loss of control and immediate fall to the ground.  Post crash fire.  All four on board suffered fatal injuries. This report names the deceased as Pilots Saqr Saeed Mohamed Abdullah Al Yamahi and Hameed Mohamed Obaid Al Zaabi, Navigator Jasim Abdullah Ali Tunaiji Paramedic Mark Roxburgh

12 December: Bond Offshore Helicopters can confirm that one of its aircraft developed a technical problem whilst on an offshore platform. Engineers were dispatched and examined the aircraft. During winch operations, something occurred at the bottom of the line which has necessitated the cutting of the winch line and releasing it from the helicopter.  As a result, paramedic Michael Wilson on the end of the line received injuries from which he died.  No implication on the helicopter itself, more about the environment.

Four people were killed when the police helicopter crashed into the Miyun reservoir in a northern suburb of Beijing. Five crew members were aboard the helicopter that was returning from a rescue drill above the mountainous region of Miyun County with two other helicopters. One crew member has been saved.

The aircraft, which was located in the parking area and was preparing to carry out the operation of a flight taxiing to take off-shore, with two crew and nine passengers, suffered the separation along the entire tail rotor.The initial findings have identified a tail rotor blade at approximately 75 m from the aircraft.
