Indian Army Retires Chetak and Cheetah Fleet

The Indian Army is retiring their ageing fleet after recent accidents. They will be retiring their Chetak and Cheetah platforms and replacing them with 40 Dhruv LUHs and 200 Kamov Ka-226T “Hoodlum” helicopters. Helicopter crashed into unoccupied building close to an air base used for training by the Indian Army.  Two killed were Major Atul Garje and Captain Bhanu Pratap Gupta
