Families want Cougar 491 memorial to be built

The Newfoundland and Labrador government has already committed to spend $400,000 on a memorial to mark the crash, which killed 15 workers heading to their jobs at offshore oil platforms and the two Cougar Helicopters pilots who were transporting them. (see full story)

UK: Memorial unveiled for victims of Morecambe Bay crash

A memorial for seven men who died in a helicopter crash in Morecambe Bay more than five years ago has been unveiled.  Five gas rig workers and two pilots were killed when the Eurocopter SA365N went down 25 miles off the coast after leaving Blackpool Airport. (see full story)
