The State of Louisiana has reached a settlement claim with Bell of $9.5 million. This comes after Bell decided to abandon their development plans at Lafayette. As reported by Daily Advertiser, Bell was unable to reach their hiring goals at Lafayette. Louisiana has now leased the aviation facility to Kopter Group AG.
