Helicopter landed to pick up a patient.  While  rotors were still turning, co pilot observed fuel leak and immediately told pilot to shut down helicopter and switch off electric.  O-ring had failed in fuel line and was repaired on site.

Provincial Health Minister, Theresa Oswald has announced that they are planning to build a helipad at Winnipeg’s Health Sciences Centre (HSC). The helipad will improve the effectiveness of the Shock Trauma Air Rescue Society (STARS) helicopter ambulance (full story)
