Turkey and Pakistan have recently signed an agreement for the sale of 30 Turkish Aerospace Industries T129 ATAK helicopters to Islamabad. The signing of the agreement was done on Thursday, during an election manifesto of the ruling Justice and Development party, reports Defence World.
Pakistan has shown interest in acquiring 39 of Turkey’s T129 Advanced Attack and Tactical Reconnaissance Helicopters (ATAK). Their Defence Production Minister, Rana Tanvir Hussein announced last week that the selling process was almost complete, reports Daily Sabah.
Poland is currently launching the tender process for a new attack helicopter. Bidders used the MSPO show to showcase their candidates. The show was held in Kielce from September 5-8.
