The Amarillo-based LifeStar program will be receiving a new EC135P3 helicopter, equipped with all the newest safety and aviation technology. Med-Trans and the Northwest Texas Healthcare System are also changing LifeStar into a broad-based community program. This will help reach the growing needs in rural areas, reports My High Plains.
