The helicopter contacted the ground going sideways and rolled on its starboard side. The main-rotor blades contacted the ground and broke. The crew was able to shut the engines off and exit with minor injuries. There was no fire. CADORS 2013P1171

Fatal crash while on geological mission on Nelson Glacier.  Aircraft remains found at 5,100ft altitude.  Victims later named by RCMP as 35 year old pilot Randy Lambert from Abbotsford, 40 year old Colin Dionne from Powell River and 32 year old Mathieu Lefebvre-Masse from Lund BC
