Taking place from February 20 – 23 in Houston, Texas, the Heli-Expo is the world’s largest tradeshow for the helicopter community. At booth #1316, Blue Sky Network’s executives will be discussing the newest addition to its family of GPS tracking devices designed for fixed and rotor-wing aircraft, the D410A. This lightweight plug-and-go GPS tracking device is ultra-portable and features two-way messaging capabilities via an innovative Windows Mobile messaging application.

Recent news from Blue Sky Network includes the announcement that Peruvian-based Pluspetrol has equipped its fleet of helicopters with Blue Sky Network’s D2000A flyaway kit. Additionally, Blue Sky Network completed the first intercontinental flight utilizing the D410A. Using the Iridium satellite network, Blue Sky Network’s D410A tracked the location of a jet traveling from Brazil to the United States and allowed crew to communicate with ground staff throughout the duration of the trip, demonstrating the power and superior functionality of the compact device.
