Local website Fuerzas Aeronavales is reporting the recent arrival of the first two Mi-171s for the Argentine Air Force.  Coded H-94 and H-95, the two arrived by air freight, and are painted in a high-visibility red and white scheme for their expected role in the Antarctic.

While the purchase of these two was agreed in April 2010, the contract was not actually signed until 1st September 2010.  The Mi-171s were manufactured at the Ulan-Ude plant.  Options for three more aircraft have not yet been exercised.
