FDC/aerofilter
6 Jun, 12FDC/aerofilter is pleased to announce FAA certification of their existing EC135 inlet barrier filter system for installation on the EC135 P2 model helicopters. This latest certification milestone extends the benefits of the FDC IBF system to a broader base of operators.
The FDC/aerofilter EC135 IBF system is a light weight, highly efficient inlet filtration system designed for ease of installation. It features a filter heath monitor which provides live monitoring of filter element blockage for improved mission and maintenance planning. The large filter elements minimize engine inlet flow restriction, allowing operators to utilize the aircraft's basic performance charts. Filter element life is based solely on condition and not limited by time in storage, time in service, or number of cleanings.
