25 Jun, 12Cmdr. Michael J. Brandhuber is appointed the commanding officer of Coast Guard Air Station New Orleans in an official change-of-command ceremony in Belle Chasse, June 22, 2012.
As commanding officer of the air station, Brandhuber is responsible for 120 personnel and five MH-65C Dolphin helicopters that are responsible for conducting search and rescue, law enforcement and marine enviornmental-response operations.
