Cadorath Aerospace announced it’s installation of a robotically controlled HVOF plasma spray system.

This recent addition broadens their already diverse metal coating capabilities and in-house processes used for approved repairs on Bell Helicopter and Rolls-Royce Model 250 engine parts.

HVOF (high velocity oxygen fuel) plasma spray coating produces the highest quality of coatings available today. The characteristics of HVOF coatings are extremely high density with low oxide content resulting in very high hardness levels, bond strengths and corrosion protection.

“Our new state-of-the-art robotic controlled HVOF system is on target with our mission to produce the best extended wear solutions possible for our customers. Additional benefits of HVOF are shorter turn-times plus it’s aligned to our commitment of being environmentally responsible,” said Cadorath Senior VP, Dave Haines.

Cadorath Aerospace continues to expand its product offerings and create strategic business alliances – allowing Cadorath to continue to meet clients’ increasing needs.

Cadorath Aerospace is wholly owned subsidiary of the Cadorath group of companies, which is based in Winnipeg, MB and is a family-owned and operated business. The Cadorath Group provides superior solutions and products to its global client base through its group of companies, which are Cadorath Aerospace, Cadorath Distribution, Cadorath Coating, Cadorath Leasing, Cadorath Uniflyte and Meridian Helicopters.
