The newest location for Heli-One, the world’s largest independent provider of helicopter maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services, is now in full operation in Rzeszow, Poland.

Work is underway on Heli-One Poland’s first project – a major overhaul (G-Check), repaint and modification of a CHC Helicopter Super Puma AS322L – with others expected to follow soon.

The Rzeszow facility, Heli-One’s fourth major workshop location, was established to satisfy growing customer demand for helicopter MRO around the globe. Heli-One Poland provides an extensive range of high-quality base-maintenance services at its temporary facility, which will be replaced by a new, customized hangar by the end of 2013.

Heli-One Poland is expected to grow to more than 100 employees within two years, creating new, high-skill jobs and providing extensive development opportunities for professionals in the country’s Aviation Valley Region. The company expects to initially invest more than $15 million in building costs, purchasing, training and other expenses related to the operation.
