Operator Conducts Practical Egress/Survival Training with Bolo3 Group

The Underwater Egress Training for NVG Operations course teaches critical life saving skills that help pilots, crewmembers and passengers get out of a submerged aircraft after a survivable crash. Through real-life simulations and preparedness activities, the live saving elements and actions needed to survive a helicopter water crash will become second nature.

The Water Survival Training course teaches the skills needed for the survivors of a water crash to continue to live once out of the aircraft. What makes this course different from any other is additional training with NVGs. This training covers situations such as how to handle the situation when you are underwater and your NVGs are still in front of your eyes, or have been knocked off, and become an entanglement issue. This “outside the box” training gives practical application to what has only been discussed before.
