Day One of EAA AirVenture Oshkosh saw a lot of visitors to the HAI HELI-CENTER. HAI members who are sharing space with HAI had a steady flow of traffic.

As in years past, the members-only observation deck and the lawn in front of the HELI-CENTER were extremely popular locations for viewing the afternoon airshow. Inside, the X-copter simulator and Precision Helicopter’s Guimbal Cabri G2 helicopter were big draws. Whirly-Girls, American Helicopters, Hillsboro Aviation, the Midwest Helicopter Association, and Helicopter Specialties all saw numerous visitors.

In the rear display area, the Disney Planes: Fire and Rescue play area was a big hit with kids, while Enstrom, Airbus Helicopters, and Sierra Aviation aircraft were big draws for the grown-up “kids.”
