Indian operator Pawan Hans has filed an advertisement this week seeking AgustaWestland AW139 pilots, despite not currently having any of the type in their fleet. Indeed the job filing notes that they operate a fleet of 46 “MI-172, Bell 206L4, Bell 407, Dauphin 365N/N3, AS350B3 & Dhruv Helicopters”.
So, while the advert does say “contract” rather than “permanent”, it would appear that the Government owned operator is to acquire some of the AgustaWestland AW139 type. The detail of the advert includes reference to offshore rig operations, and requires 3000 total hours, 2000 hours in command, 500 offshore multi-engined helicopter and 100 on type.
Pawan Hans is also seeking engineers for the AgustaWestland AW139
